Update on the 3^rd and 4^th Romanian Metabolic Symposiums with International participation

In the light of the global coronavirus outbreak, we decided to postpone our 3^rd Romanian Metabolic Symposium – Understanding principles of Inborn Errors of Metabolism, scheduled to take place from the 20^th to the 23^th of May 2020 in Cluj-Napoca. This Symposium is tentatively postponed to the 10^th-12^th September 2020. The venue of the symposium will remain the same, the Aula – “Iuliu Hatieganu” at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca.
We will update you with more information during late spring, early summer.

We made this difficult decision after reviewing all circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including the ban on international travel and restrictions on group meetings in this period.

It is clear that all of these elements significantly affect the ability of delegates, speakers, and exhibitors to participate fully in our meeting. We believe that the decision to postpone the meeting is the correct one to safeguard our meeting participants from further potential exposure to the Coronavirus, we also understand that it is a disappointing one for our participants.

The participants that already payed the registration fee for May 2020 could decide if they want refund or consider their fee for September symposium, writing an e-mail to bgmorganizare@gmail.com.

The 4^th Romanian Metabolic Symposium – Understanding principles of Inborn Errors of Metabolism will be postponed to the spring of 2021, and we will announce the exact period of time, according to the possibilities of the organizers and availability of the invited speakers.
